CONTRACT INFORMATION
Contract Period: January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2014
Discount on moving of interstate household goods.
Discount on storage.
Full replacement insurance is provided at no charge. Maximum liability shall be $6.00 times the weight of the shipment
in pounds up to a maximum of $100,000.
Flat rate automobile prices.
SMART VAULT Containerized Shipping - Available with 28-day use of container at no charge. Delivery anywhere in the US
within 10 days. SMART VAULTS are stored at $2.00 per day after the 28 free days are used.
This contract does NOT apply to campus moves (moving of campus property).

INTERNATIONAL MOVES
Action Moving Services is recognized by AMSA (American Moving and Storage Association) as a Certified Registered
International Mover (RIM). They are also members of the IAM (International Association of Movers), with members
worldwide. All members of the IAM have to meet stringent standards. Rest assured, when you work with Action Moving
Services and the IAM members around the globe, your goods will be handled safely and securely.

PAYMENT
If the move is reimbursable by the University, the contract vendor will invoice the transferee's
department. If the move is not reimbursable by the University, payment is on a COD basis. Agencies will supply pre-moving
information packets to each appointee. Home finding & apartment rental services also available through agencies
partnering programs.
Credit cards accepted.
AVAILABLE TO
Contract services are available to all University of Minnesota new hires, retirees, employees leaving the University &
University alumni.
