CONTRACT INFORMATION
Contract Period: January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2014
Discount on moving of interstate/intrastate household goods.
Discount on storage-in-transit (SIT). Maximum period of storage-in-transit is 180 days.
Full replacement insurance is provided at no charge. Maximum liability shall be $6.50 times the weight of the
shipment in pounds up to a maximum of $100,000.
Auto contract rates available upon request.
This contract does NOT apply to campus moves (moving of campus property).

INTERNATIONAL MOVES
Graebel provides world-class on-the-ground mobility and moving services in 153 countries for the Fortune 500 and
Global 100.
Overseas origin and destination services are performed through our trusted, decades-long partners, including
companies in the Graebel Relocation Alliance and must be members of the Overseas Moving Network International
(OMNI) and Fédération Internationale des Déménageurs Internationaux (FIDI).
Customers realize preferential service and rates from the Graebel hand-selected overseas partners in 153
countries.
PAYMENT
If the move is reimbursable by the University, the contract vendor will invoice the transferee's
department. If the move is not reimbursable by the University, payment is on a COD basis. Agencies will supply
pre-moving information packets to each transferee. Home finding & apartment rental services also available
through agencies partnering programs.
Major credit cards accepted.
AVAILABLE TO
Contract services are available to all University of Minnesota new hires, employees leaving the University, and
University Alumni.

UNIVERSITY RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Another information resource available for candidates & new hires is the University Relocation Assistance Program
(RAP). RAP provides information about the University & the Twin Cities helping to ease individual & families
transition to the metropolitan area. RAPs services include tailored information packets, personalized assistance from
the RAP staff to address specific concerns & questions, spouse/partner employment assistance, & assistance in
recruitment for diversity.
