Relocation/Household Moving
To assist transferees in their relocation, the University offers valuable tools in the form of written materials, policies and procedures, University-Wide van line contracts, and personal assistance from the Office of Human Resources with unusual aspects of a move.

This policy provides guidelines, procedures, forms, authorization letters, and related links for transferees.
Moving Expense Reimbursement Form
The Moving Expense Reimbursement form is completed by a department when the University is responsible for reimbursing an employee for relocation or moving type expenses.
U-Wide Contracts: Relocation
Travel Services has established University-Wide contracts with van line agencies to assist with the interstate moving of household goods. These contract relationships assure lower costs, service benefits, consistent implementation of University policies, and priority for shipments during the busy season.

Relocation Assistance Program (RAP)
Human Resources' Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) serves prospective and new employees and their families by providing complimentary information about housing, transportation, child and elder care, school systems, and other community services. In addition, RAP offers spouse/partner services, such as, guidance in job search, resume and vitae review and career counseling.
